The Institute provides Mountaineering, clothing and Technical equipment. Incase students posses some equipment of their own, they are welcome to bring the same with them. |

All trainees MUST REPORT for the course at the Institute, AN EVENING BEFORE commencement of the course. LATE ARRIVALS EVEN BY ONE DAY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO JOIN THE COURSE. They should make their own arrangements for to and from journey. |

A full fledged NIM SOUVENIR SHOP, is run by the Institute from which ATTRACTIVE INSTITUTE MEMORABILIA can be purchased including NIM Badges, Ties, Scarfs, Postcards, Mountaineering Books, Publications and Himalayan posters, on termination of the course. Trainees are advised to bring adequate money for the same. |

| Dias Memorial Fund Stores |

Dias Memorial Fund Store is the largest store house, for hiring of Mountaineering Equipment in India. These stores are maintained by the NIM and are available on hire. These are made available to India Mountaineering Foundation approved Mountaineering Expeditions only or on a special request made to Principal NIM on a FIRST CUM FIRST SERVE BASIS. This gives you an insight into the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) and is available on payment of Rs. 50/- through bank draft, payable at SBI/PNB Uttarkashi in favour of Principal NIM Uttarkashi. |

NMJ, Annual Journal of the Institute costing Rs. 150/- can be obtained from the Institute by sending bank draft Payable to NIM. For rates of Life Membership, Subscription and Advertisements write to Editor NMJ. |

| Indian Mountaineering Foundation Scholarship |
