Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) Scholarship: IMF scholarship (10% of the course vacancy) is fully offered to the candidates whose individual/parents/ guardian's monthly income is less than Rs. 2000/- per month and half scholarship of the training fee, whose income is above Rs. 2000/- but below Rs. 3000/- per month. The income certificate has to be verified by an officer of the rank of the Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) or above. Application forms are available with IMF and the Institute.

IMF scholarships Application will be recommended on a first come first serve basis. For admission into the course the trainee will have to deposit the full amount which will be refunded on receipt of the scholarship amount when forwarded by IMF.

Himalayan Club Scholarship: The Himalayan Club gives full scholarship to deserving candidates keen on undergoing training at this Institute. For further details write to Principal NIM or the Himalayan Club.
