To commemorate the international year of mountaineering in 2002, the Institute conceived 'The Himalayan Flora Park'. The park depicts Himalayan flora which grows in upper reaches of Himalayan range.
Special plantation has been done in order to give the trainees feeling of the rich biodiversity of this great range, which they would actually see during their approach march while undergoing the course.
